Roots And Wingsshawl
If you’ve never tried knitting two-colored brioche before, ROOTS AND WINGS is the perfect project to give it a go. It’s pretty simple at first, so you can get to know the technique. Then you get to try out different types of brioche increases and decreases on the gorgeous edge of the shawl. It’s so much fun!
I promise that two-colored brioche is much easier than the internet often suggests. It has such a nice rhythm and flow to it. For me, it’s one of the most enjoyable stitch patterns around!
I designed the ROOTS AND WINGS shawl for a knitalong with my local knitting group. We meet every week, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. It’s a wonderful group of women who support each other and kick off the weekend together. We share our passion and our thoughts. But we also teach each other new techniques and share knitting knowledge - hence the name ROOTS AND WINGS.
